Meet OzHarvest!
There’s power in donation, especially in these times. When we were getting The Paper Club together we didn’t want to just make a subscription box, we wanted to help those in need in our community too. That’s why we decided to make The Paper Club stationery subscription box a gift that keeps on giving! For every box we send, we donate $1 to our local charity OzHarvest - meaning each box provides TWO meals to people in need. OzHarvest takes in food from grocery stores, catered events and more to prevent perfectly good food from being wasted. They then find people who experience food insecurity across Australia to donate to. The Paper Club aims to not only provide a fancy and fun subscription box but also help out our community in the process.
We chose OzHarvest because the Candle Bark team got together and discussed great charities to support and decided OzHarvest was the one! Not only does it provide food to communities in need, they also have a variety of programs for youth and other vulnerable demographics to help improve their lives through the power of food and nourishment.
